About The Fire Place
Founded over 1/4 century ago in 1997, The Fire Place is a division of Magic Touch Mechanical, Inc., headquartered in downtown Mesa, AZ. Over 27 years ago, we began offering gas fireplace repair & maintenance to our heating & air clients as an ‘add-on’ service offering. Over the years we received more and more requests for fireplace service, repairs, upgrades, and complete fireplace remodels.
It got to the point where we went from a heating company that also worked on fireplaces, to a fireplace company that also workied on heating & air! Our fireplace service division was the fastest growing department of our compnay & eventually even outgrew our HVAC department! So the decision was made to seperate the two and ‘The Fire Place’ is today a full service fireplace, fire pit & fire feature company offering a wide aray of fire products, services & remodel.

When I first moved here from NYC 30-years ago, I was very surprised by 2 things…
1) How many fireplaces & fire pits there were in Phoenix.
2) How few fireplace repair technicians & fireplace installers there were in this city.
Out east, fireplace repair service calls were common, as was installing & replacing gas hearths, electric fireplaces, even pizza ovens.
Recognizing the need for fire pit & fireplace service, we offered it through our HVAC company, Magic Touch Mechanical. Over the years, we became the highest rated fireplace service company in Arizona on sites like Angi, Google and other customer review sites, and our fireplace business grew larger & larger.
My wife & business partner, Michele recognized another gap in the fireplace business in Phoenix – the remodel / design side … nobody offered it! With Phoenix, AZ being the 5th largest city in the U.S. and so many people remodeling homes, she knew many more people must want an affordable way to update their fireplace – she was right.
Our fire pit & fireplace service has been so popular, we launched a separate business – The Fire Place.
